2018 Christmas blogger collaborations – review
In the run up to Christmas 2018, we were delighted to collaborate with some of the UK’s most popular and influential interior design bloggers as they dressed their homes ready for Christmas.
It was great to be invited into the homes of some of the country’s most talented bloggers and to see how our decorations helped transform their living space.
Below is a round-up of some of the stunning displays created using products from ChristmasTimeUK, which will provide you with inspiration.
House Lust
First up was Amanda from House Lust (Instagram – @houselust) who wanted to ditch traditional themed decorations for bright, fun playful colours. With a six month old crawling around the house and wanting to touch and chew everything in sight, Amanda was also conscious of switching to shatterproof baubles.
Amanda chose our handcrafted circus wreath to make a statement of her front door. With its combination of shiny baubles, glitter, ribbons and pinecones, the circus-themed wreath puts a modern take on a classic decoration item.
Amanda decided to give her tree a rainbow theme, one of this year’s hottest decorating trends. The eye catching effect was created using layers of shatterproof plastic baubles in different colours.
She also used our retro honeycombs in various sizes to transform her staircase with a bold and colourful decorative display.
Mrs Rackley Home
Nobody does Christmas décor better than Mrs Rackley Home (Instagram – @mrs_rackley.home). For the second year running, we were delighted to supply one of Instagram’s most popular interior bloggers with a selection of additional baubles and decorative items for her hugely anticipated Christmas tree including clip-on flowers, butterflies and beaded and glitter baubles in ivory, gold and pink.
Superbly organised, just like every room in her house, Mrs Rackley’s display was the epitome of perfection combining metallic and blush tones to create a beautifully elegant display. The response from her followers was amazing too, attracting over 20,000 likes.
Our Montreux Home
One of the hottest colour trends of 2018 which we identified early in the year ChristmasWorld in Frankfurt was blush pink. At ChristmasTimeUK we visit lots of trade shows throughout the year to ensure our collection is bang on trend!
Needles to say, we were thrilled when Natalie from popular interior blog Our Montreux Home (Instagram – @our_montreux_home) got in touch seeking a snowy flocked 5ft tree and blush pink decorations. Natalie’s final display looked stunning and received some wonderful comments from her 82,700 followers on Instagram and over 2300 likes!
No 40 Home Renovation
Creating a wintry themed tree is no easy task but we think Instagram interiors blogger No 40 Home Renovation pulled it off perfectly!
We were pleased to supply Kayleigh with a selection of baubles and decorations to help her create this real show stopper at her first attempt. Combining feathery, crystal, iridescent and beaded baubles with a collection of beautiful velvet statement flowers the final display was simply spectacular and attracted a lot of attention, over 19,000 likes no less!
Design_at_nineteen
In 2018 we were also thrilled to partner with self-confessed DIY and Interiors Addict and popular Instagram blogger Design_at_nineteen, helping him turn his vision of a peacock themed Christmas tree into a reality.
Justin’s incredible display was created using a variety of black, turquoise and blue sequin and beaded baubles, together with a handful of clip-on flowers and peacocks. The final display looked fantastic and attracted over 2,200 likes on Instagram!
Little Big Bell
Finally, when one of Instagram’s most influential and award-winning interior bloggers Little Big Bell (Instagram – @littlebigbell) got in touch with a last minute request seeking baubles for a tree she was creating for Grazia Magazine, we couldn’t say no.
Owned by Geraldine Tan, Little Big Bell is renowned for her distinctive use of bright vibrant colours and electric patterns throughout her living space. After her rainbow tree proved a hit with her 222,000 followers last year the pressure was on to try and go one better in 2019.
Our Citrus Burst theme, featuring a variety of yellow, lime and orange baubles provided the perfect inspiration and received an overwhelming response from followers who loved its positive vibes.
We looked forward to collaborating again with our partners in 2019. If you’re interested in collaborating with ChristmasTimeUK, please get in touch.
